1973 F250 high boy crew cab farm find
A 1973 dent side crew cab high boy 4x4 (first year of the dent side trucks) starts and runs instantly after being abandoned for 10 years in a field. Truck will need some repairs but we are thinking of keeping it as a daily.

were is gas tank and how many gallons does she hold that damn thing is a snow eating sob dude build me one ya buddy oh how much was total cost for the build happy snow time
Fuel tank holds nearly 5 gallons, it sits down low and hidden with the hydraulic tank between the track drive. A lot more time than money to build but ya,lots of fun to use it. Thanks

So is the hydraulic tracks just a mini version of any skid steer with a chain case? Is there some sort of clutch or does the blower instantly start spinning when you turn it on?
Tracks are independent hydraulic drives. The auger has a mechanical clutch that engages/disengages from a lever on the dash
Its my dream to build one of these with an 8V71 detroit diesel

If a two stage snow thrower is adapted to accept almost any north American V8 when if the dream for one to build a dual stage snow thrower around a hemi. If the few known to be ford loyalists when they can have a dual stage snow thrower powered by the Godzilla 7.3 as if they are around when the 6.8 was a member of the triton family of engines before it returns as a V8.

There is nothing like a built 460!
Given the HP that engine should easily be capable of that blower should be 10 feet wide, 3 feet high, and able to take a full cut of the heaviest snow ever at least at a brisk walking speed.

I've had a spare SBC or 2 lying around for the last 20 years and always thought about doing this! After the dumping we had in Hamilton today and my hardly used Craftsman's chute jamming after every 6 inches, I'm thinking it's time! Absolutely love what you did here! Have you considered stacking another auger? Do you have a web or facebook page where I could learn more?

Hi grunts garage ive got a question did you use the cam kit and if so what is the length of your push rods recently bought the same cam but can’t find the length of the pushrods
